About our Counsellor

Megan Jackson – BA, MA Marriage & Family Counselling

I am a client-centred marriage, youth, and family counsellor holding a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counselling from Briercrest Seminary (Caronport, SK). I have worked in private practice as well as in the Chinook School Division, helping individuals, couples, families, youth, and children in a variety of areas including couples counselling, marriage counselling, anxiety, parenting skills, stress, trauma, sexual identity, self-harm, and anger.

My counselling approaches include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, and play therapies, with a focus on tailoring counselling to individual situations and circumstances. My goal in counselling is to help clients discover, utilize, and add tools to the strengths they already possess to work collaboratively with clients to achieve the change they are looking for.
